INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUTHORS

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • The paper is original and was prepared by the person(s) credited as the author(s). The manuscript is a result of my (our) own research conducted in an ethical and responsible manner.
  • The results are presented honestly and without fabrication, falsification or inappropriate data manipulation.
  • The text has not been published yet and has not been sent to review process in any other journal.
  • The text is saved in the editable format (doc or docx).
  • The text of the article has been edited according to the journal guidelines.
  • Author/Authors have read and understood the Code of Ethics of the Journal. (Please see in "Code of Ethics" section.)

We accept the following types of papers:

  1. original research articles;
  2. reviews;
  3. scientific reports.

The articles are double-blind reviewed. (Please see "Peer Review Process" section.)

Articles may be submitted any time, except for those outside the thematic frames of a given issue, in such cases one needs to consult the editor (read the CfP in announcements).
Articles should be submitted online through the journal submission system. The authors are obliged to fill the metadata of the article. Authors are kept posted if their article has been accepted, and next it is reviewed.

Author Guidelines

  • The paper is an original work and has not been published, submitted, or accepted elsewhere in any form; copyrights of third parties have not been breached.
  • We do not limit the length of the articles, articles published in Central European Papers shall range from 15 to 20 pages.
  • An abstract of no more than 250 words should be included at the beginning of the article. An abstract should contain a brief background/context, the research question or purpose, a description of the methods, a summary of the major findings or results, and a conclusion about the findings' implications or significance.
  • 5–7 keywords.
  • Articles should be submitted in Word format, Times New Roman 12, one-and-a-half-spaced, with 2,5 cm margins.
  • Spelling should follow the Oxford English Dictionary.
  • Each additional element (chart, table, drawing, diagram) should be described with the title (Times New Roman 12) and the source (Times New Roman 10). The title should be placed above, and information about the source below the presented graph, table, drawing, or diagram.
  • Quotations should be indicated by using inverted commas.
  • Italics should be used for titles of books, titles of articles, and short foreign phrases or names only. Foreign-language words or phrases must be in italics. Do not use any special formatting.
  • Footnotes, if necessary, at the bottom of the page. We advise to use them only occasionally. In such cases the total number of footnotes must not exceed the maximum of 10 in total.
  • For reference, please use the APA 7th Format Citation Style. The complete guide to APA you can find here.
  • The name of the author/s, academic affiliation, e-mail of at least one of them (corresponding author), and other basic information (e.g. electronic identification number ORCID) must be given on the first page of the article.
  • The references list should be organized alphabetically according to authors’ surnames. If there are more works of the same author cited, they should be organized chronologically.
  • In the case of materials from websites, the bibliography should include current URL addresses of the cited websites.
  • The author cannot edit the text during editorial work. The final form of the material should be sent to the editors.
  • A biographical note and information indicating the correspondence address, e-mail address, and affiliation of the author should be place at the very first footnote.

Article should be edited in the following order:

  • Article title
  • Name/names of author or authors of the article
  • Biographical note (title/academic degree, working place and job position, e-mail, ORCID if applicable)
  • Abstract
  • Keywords (between 5 and 7)

Text of the article according to the recommended structure:

  • Introduction (context, interpretation, research problem);
  • Theoretical background (literature overview);
  • Methodology (detailed description of applied theoretical framework or methodological approach, used method/s, criteria of searching and analysis, description of sample selection or reasons for choosing a particular method, etc.);
  • Results (objective presentation of the results of the research);
  • Discussion, summary (interpretation of the results with a reflection of existing literature and clear conclusion, what new findings this research brought or what was confirmed and what kind of conclusions can be made);
  • Literature;
  • Acknowledgments (if applicable).
