This article offers insights into the opinions of Polish decision-makers on citizens’ assemblies implemented at the local government level. The author employs interpretive, qualitative empirical research, utilizing in-depth interviews with three groups of local political and social actors, who either commissioned or participated in the implementation of nine citizens’ assembly processes in major Polish cities between 2016 and 2021. This article presents how climate change is becoming a subject of political narratives and disinformation, turning into a tool of political struggle. Scientifically proven climate change is often presented selectively, serving specific political, ideological, or economic interests. This study aimed at analysing the perceived importance and satisfaction with the particular domains of life among students and teachers at a secondary vocational school and comparing their respective views on the quality of life in the school setting.
